Economist, E.CA Economics

Dr Rafael Aigner joined E.CA in April 2017. Before that, he worked as a consultant for DIW Econ where he advised public and corporate clients on a variety of economic matters. From 2012 to 2014 he was a research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods.

Rafael holds a doctoral degree in economics from the University of Bonn. His thesis was supervised by Martin Hellwig and applies microeconomic theory to questions of public economics and political economy. Rafael obtained an M.Sc. from the University of Bonn, a B.A. from Göttingen University, and he was a research exchange student at the London School of Economics.
