Paula Schneider joined E.CA in May 2017 after completing her MSc in economics at Humboldt-University of Berlin. During her studies, Paula specialised in empirical econometrics and labour market and policy analysis. She spent a semester abroad at the University of Toulouse. In her master’s thesis, she investigated the effects of job tasks on the probability of future computerisation and the offshoring of occupations. Prior to joining E.CA, Paula gained extensive experience in empirical economic analysis by working at RWI Essen, the EU Evaluation Services department of KPMG AG and the econometrics chair of Humboldt-University of Berlin. She further conducted a Blue Book internship at the Dutch Desk of the European Commission’s Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs.
