Economist, E.CA Economics

Brecht Boone joined the Brussels office of E.CA Economics in August 2017. Prior to that, he was a PhD fellow of the Research Foundation Flanders at Ghent University. In his research, he specialised in the theoretical effects of labour market policies and the expectation formation of households.

Brecht also holds both a BSc and an MSc in economics from Ghent University. During his master’s studies, he took several advanced courses in econometrics, macroeconomics and microeconomics.
